2017-2023 L5P / 2019-2023 L5D High-Flow Turbo Pedestal Kit by VSE Engineering

Cast from Nickle / Inconel 718 Superalloy (Superior Heat rejection and strength compared to Stainless 316 or Cast Steel)  Continuous in service temp rating of 2000F vs 316 stainless (1400F) and Cast steel (1800F)  22% flow increase over factory 2017-2023+ L5P Pedestal  Exhaust entry port matched to up-pipe exist Turbo entry port matched  Thickness and strength increased in wall / flange / mounting areas to prevent cracking / warping Designed / tested / machined right at our facility  ARP hardware included for turbo mounting (x4) and pedestal mounting (x4) 360 Degree Piston coating applied for maximum heat rejection   The OEM turbo pedestal is made from low grade cast steel which has a tendency to crack and break from prolonged high temperatures from high horsepower tuning as well as towing. This is evident as these trucks age and get inspected during tear downs. We chose a Superalloy material to cast and machine due to its superior strength, resistance to cracking and long term ability to reject heat vs cast steel or stainless steel.
