The 68RFE billet input shaft is custom forged from high-strength 300 maraging steel and is burnished to harden surface and increase yield point. Short pilots on other aftermarket shafts can result in the torque converter turbine seal coming out of place. Our shaft features an extended pilot to correctly fit this turbine seal.
